WANTED – BLOOD BANK INCHARGE
A reputed hospital is looking for a Blood Bank Incharge to manage and supervise blood bank operations.
Qualification:
- DMLT / B.Sc Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)
- Additional certification or training in Blood Bank Technology preferred
- Valid registration with relevant paramedical council (if applicable)
Experience:
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in blood bank or transfusion services
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day blood bank operations
- Supervise blood collection, testing, storage, and issue of blood/components
- Ensure proper screening of donor blood (HIV, HBsAg, HCV, etc.)
- Maintain blood bank records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with blood bank regulations and safety protocols
- Monitor stock of blood and blood components
- Coordinate with doctors and hospital departments for blood requirements
- Maintain quality control and equipment maintenance
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of blood grouping and cross-matching procedures
- Good leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of blood bank regulations and transfusion practices
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
