Job Description
We are looking for a Multimodal Transport Operations Executive to manage and coordinate transportation activities across multiple modes of transport, including road, rail, air, and sea. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth logistics operations, timely shipments, and effective communication with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor multimodal transportation activities.
- Plan and schedule shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Communicate with transporters, freight forwarders, and customers.
- Track shipments and provide regular status updates.
- Prepare and maintain transportation and logistics documentation.
- Resolve operational issues and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Analyze transportation performance and suggest process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of logistics operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of transportation and logistics operations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other office applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
