As the Business Manager for our Ultrasound products, you will lead a commercial sales team to deliver orders, revenue and margin growth first in Indian market, then in other places. In your role, you will be responsible for managing existing accounts in Cardiology, Gynecology, Urology and General Surgery. You will approach your accounts methodically, building an action plan based on deep intelligence gathered at accounts, accurate knowledge of budgeting cycles and a consultative sales approach.
Job Responsibilities

Achieving monthly, quarterly and yearly Product / Solution / Service P&L Operating Plan targets (Orders, Sales, Contribution Margin, Base Costs and Operating Margin and Cash (where applicable) for our Ultrasound Business

Timely and accurate forecasting of pipeline and sales to discover and achieve targets.

Providing input to the formulation of the yearly business planning cycles for a number of Products, Business Unit and Geographical Region

Demonstrating strategic knowledge of products, customers, region and various market.

Continuously develop deep clinical and technical knowledge including awareness of current and future trends in healthcare technology and healthcare funding mechanisms.

Educating, coaching and directing the differentiation (position, value proposition and key messages) of their product/solution/service within your assigned territory.

Acting as reference point to the Regional/Zone account teams regarding differentiation of their products.
- Knowing, interacting and executing the strategy with Key Opinion Leaders in product relevant care areas; maintain professional relations with key customers, academia, government & administrative bodies

Ensuring understanding of needs and that product value proposition is differentiated in the minds of these key customer groups.

Ensuring and validating up to date knowledge of product positioning and differentiation messages within our teams as well as relevant account teams.

Determining the market potential for our product range or segment and prioritizing the opportunities.

Communicating appropriate operating plan targets based on their product market potential, for their first line managers within their geography.

Ensuring all team members utilize the required sales systems to create pipeline visibility and assist accurate forecasting.

Drive optimal operating mechanisms to deliver on fulfillment targets and order backlog commitments.
Qualifications and Experience

Bachelors / Master Degree or equivalent experience

Experienced in Sales / Marketing in progressive leadership positions within the Ultrasound or Imaging industry with in-depth knowledge of healthcare market and decision makers.

Healthcare experience of 0-8 years medical equipment sales or service

Exemplary people management, leadership skills, as well as sales coaching & team building skills.

Demonstrated track record in high technology product sales / solutions
