We are looking for an experienced Fitter to join our Tool Room team. The candidate will be responsible for operating tool room machines, maintaining moulds, carrying out preventive and breakdown maintenance, and ensuring high accuracy in machining and mould assembly. The role requires technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Operate Tool Room machines such as Milling, Turning, Drilling, Surface Grinding, Sand Blasting, Band Saw, and EDM machines.
- Perform manual tapping and drilling operations.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of moulds.
- Assemble and align moulds to ensure proper functioning.
- Inspect moulds for accuracy and quality before production.
- Work on plastic injection moulds and understand their functions.
- Read and follow engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Maintain machining accuracy and ensure quality standards are met.
- Prepare and maintain daily work records and maintenance documents.
- Follow safety procedures and company policies while working.
- Hands-on experience with Tool Room machines.
- Knowledge of mould maintenance and repair.
- Experience in mould assembly and alignment.
- Understanding of plastic injection moulds (IBM, IM, and related moulds).
- Basic knowledge of steels and machining processes.
- Ability to maintain high machining and mould accuracy.
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Knowledge and practice of 5S principles.
