The Machine Operator is responsible for operating forging machines safely and efficiently to achieve production with minimum 1 yr experience targets while maintaining quality standards and following safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forging press / hammer / upsetter / power press as per production plan
- Perform machine start-up and shutdown procedures
- Load and unload raw materials into machines
- Monitor machine performance during production cycle
- Maintain required production quantity as per shift target
- Inspect forged components for visible defects
- Report machine abnormalities immediately to supervisor
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) during production
- Maintain workplace cleanliness as per 5S standards
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safety compliance
- Support die changeover activities when required
- Record production data in shift production sheet
Skills Required
- Knowledge of forging machine operation
- Understanding of production process
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
