Lathe Machine Operator

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Lathe Machine Operator to operate lathe machines for manufacturing and precision machining work. The candidate should have hands-on experience in machine operation, tool setting, measurements, and quality inspection.
Responsibilities
- Operate lathe machines for various machining operations.
- Set up machines, tools, and workpieces as per job requirements.
- Perform turning, facing, threading, drilling, and related operations.
- Read and understand basic engineering drawings.
- Use vernier calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
- Check finished components for dimensional accuracy and quality.
- Maintain production targets and required quality standards.
- Identify machine or tooling issues and report them to the supervisor.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Lathe Machine Operator.
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical or relevant qualification preferred.
- Hands-on experience with lathe machine operations.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, machine settings, and machining processes.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of basic measurement and inspection methods.
- Good attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
