Position: Production Manager
Industry: Backpack / Bags Manufacturing
Location: Indore, Madhya Pradesh
Experience: 8–15 Years
Qualification: Diploma/B.E. (Mechanical/Industrial/Textile) or Graduate with relevant experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complete backpack manufacturing operations including Cutting, Stitching, Assembly, Finishing, Packing, and Dispatch.
- Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Monitor line productivity, efficiency, and manpower utilization.
- Reduce rejection, rework, and production losses.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and productivity improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with PPC, Quality, Maintenance, and Stores departments.
- Ensure on-time order completion as per customer delivery schedule.
- Control production costs, overtime, and material wastage.
- Maintain safety, discipline, and housekeeping standards.
- Lead and develop production supervisors and shop-floor teams.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in backpack, luggage, travel bags, or sewn products manufacturing.
- Knowledge of industrial sewing machines and production balancing.
- Ability to manage large manpower and multiple production lines.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
