Job Description
● Project Deployment & Solutioning: Lead the planning, design, and implementation of enterprise-level network and security infrastructure projects. Architect robust and scalable solutions to meet business and technical requirements.
● Advanced Troubleshooting: Serve as the final escalation point for complex network and security issues. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve high-impact incidents efficiently to minimize downtime.
● Team Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance, leadership, and mentorship to L1/L2 engineers. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
● Customer Relationship Management: Act as a trusted technical advisor to key customers. Build and maintain strong relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and confidence in our services.
● Incident & Escalation Management: Take ownership of critically escalated customer issues and incident tickets, managing them from inception to resolution while providing clear and timely communication to all stakeholders.
Documentation & Compliance: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network designs, configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures. Ensure all solutions adhere to industry best practices and compliance standards
Requirements
- ● Education: Must possess a full-time Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunications, or a related field.
● Overall Experience:
○ A minimum of 6 to 8 years of hands-on technical IT experience in enterprise network and security engineering.
○ A minimum of 4 years of proven experience in a team handling or management role, with responsibility for guiding and mentoring other engineers.
● Subject Matter Expertise: Proven expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience with a wide range of products from the following Network & Security vendors:
○ Cisco: Routers (ISR/ASR), Switches (Catalyst/Nexus), Firewalls (ASA/Firepower), ISE,WLC , APs
○ Fortinet: FortiGate Next-Generation Firewalls, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer , FortiSASE ,Forti- EMS
○ Palo Alto Networks: PA-Series Firewalls, Panorama, GlobalProtect, Prisma Cloud SASE
○ Sophos: XG/XGS Series Firewalls, Sophos Central
○ HPE: Aruba Switches and Wireless solutions
○ Netgear: Smart Managed Pro Switches and SMB networking products
● Technical Proficiencies:
○ Deep understanding of advanced routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) & Switching (VXLAN, VTP , VSS )technology.
○ Expertise in VPN/ZTNA/SASE technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN, DMVPN, SASE, ZTNA).
○ Strong knowledge of network security principles, including IDS/IPS, content filtering, and threat protection.
● Professional Skills:
○ Demonstrated ability in a project leadership role.
○ Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
○ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
● Certifications (Highly Desirable):
○ Cisco: CCNP (Enterprise/Security) or CCIE
○ Fortinet: NSE 4/5 or higher, SASE
○ Palo Alto: PCNSE , SASE
○ Sophos Certified Architect
