Working Hours: Regular IST Hours (Candidates should be flexible to provide 2–3 hours overlap with the US time zone, as required.)
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Lead Workday Finance Functional Consultant to lead enterprise-scale Workday Financials implementations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in end-to-end Workday Finance deployments, solution design, configuration, testing, and stakeholder management. This is a client-facing leadership role requiring strong expertise in Workday Financials, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and global finance transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead large enterprise end-to-end Workday Financials implementations as the Functional Lead.
- Drive solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment across Workday Financials modules.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions.
- Configure and implement core financial processes, including:
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Fixed Assets
- Supplier Accounts & Contracts
- Procurement
- Banking & Settlement
- Inventory
- Financial Data Model (FDM)
- Lead global and multi-country implementations while addressing localization, tax, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical consultants to ensure successful project delivery.
- Identify project risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and support issue resolution during testing and deployment.
- Contribute to delivery methodology improvements and implementation best practices.
- Support pre-sales activities, including solutioning, effort estimation, project scoping, and resource planning.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Workday Financials.
- Experience leading 2 or more large enterprise end-to-end Workday Financials implementations.

- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Fixed Assets

- Experience integrating Workday Financials with external applications.
- Strong understanding of global finance processes and multi-country implementations.
- Experience with testing, defect management, and issue resolution.
- Ability to support pre-sales, estimation, and implementation strategy discussions.
