Experience
13–15 years of relevant experience in project management and leadership roles with a focus on water supply and infrastructure projects.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental) or a related field is required.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end execution of water supply and resource management projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, technical, procurement, and administrative units to ensure smooth operations.
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets; monitor progress and report to senior management.
Ensure compliance with all local and national regulations related to water supply and resource management projects.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, managing communication and expectations.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity.
Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and supporting career growth.
Maintain detailed documentation of project processes, outcomes, and lessons learned.
Requirements
13–15 years of progressive experience in project coordination and leadership roles, preferably in the water supply and infrastructure sector.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects related to water supply networks and water resource management.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools (such as MS Project, Primavera), and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and build strong working relationships.
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
Proficient in using project management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Nice to Have (Skills)
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
Experience with Water Supply Network Design and Implementation.
Familiarity with Water Resource Management software or tools.
Knowledge of local water policies, regulations, and sustainability initiatives.
