Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L1/L2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and business applications.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies in Active Directory.
- Configure and support Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, Teams, and related applications.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Install and maintain antivirus, endpoint security, and system updates.
- Support LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, and network devices such as switches and routers.
- Monitor IT infrastructure and ensure system availability with minimal downtime.
- Handle asset management, hardware procurement, inventory, and lifecycle tracking.
- Maintain IT documentation, incident reports, and knowledge base articles.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, software licensing, and warranty claims.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and data protection standards.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Desktop Support or IT Infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Windows Server environments.
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Office 365.
- Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and system upgrades.
- Good understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi).
- Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, or similar.
- Knowledge of endpoint security solutions and patch management.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer support skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple issues and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting cloud-based environments (Microsoft Azure or AWS).
- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell or Batch).
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Microsoft certifications (MCSA, Modern Desktop Administrator, Azure Fundamentals) are an added advantage.
