Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and target-driven Sales Manager to lead sales operations in the Jabalpur region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding the distributor network, strengthening customer relationships, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to grow business in the assigned territory.
- Manage and expand the distributor and retailer network.
- Identify new business opportunities and increase market penetration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key customers.
- Conduct regular market visits and monitor competitor activities.
- Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy outstanding levels.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (B.Pharm, B.Sc., or MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred).
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven experience in territory management, distributor handling, and achieving sales targets.
Skills Required
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent sales, business development, and relationship management abilities.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Salary
₹28,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on experience and interview performance) + incentives + travel allowance as per company policy.
