Key Responsibilities
- Design & Innovation: Create biomedical technology, including artificial internal organs, prosthetics, surgical lasers, and medical imaging systems. [1, 2]
- Testing & Compliance: Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of new medical devices to ensure they adhere to healthcare compliance standards. [1, 2]
- Maintenance & Calibration: Install, calibrate, and perform preventive maintenance on biomedical equipment in hospitals and research facilities. [1, 2, 3]
- Training & Support: Provide technical support and train medical professionals and technicians on how to properly use diagnostic and therapeutic machines. [1, 2, 3]
- Research & Reporting: Collaborate with life scientists and medical professionals to research biological systems and compile technical reports and service records. [1, 2, 3]
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in biomedical engineering, bioengineering, or a closely related engineering discipline. [1, 2, 3]
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills to assess patient needs and design functional technological solutions. [1, 2, 3]
- Technical Knowledge: Working understanding of human anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, electrical circuits, and statistical modeling software. [1, 2]
- Communication: Exceptional presentation and collaboration skills to bridge the gap between engineering teams and clinical staff. [1, 2, 3]
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
