JOB Description
1.
PRINCIPAL
ACCOUNTABILITIES

Work with logistics team and supply chain team to:
§ Identify, evaluate and implement carbon reduction measures across logistics value chains
§ Support in monitoring logistics emission intensity metrics, Logistics Service Provider benchmarking on actual vs targets
§ Develop business cases for adoption of alternative fuels / zero-emission vehicles (EVs, CNG, CBG, LNG, Biofuels, Hydrogen, etc.), and support infrastructure
§ Work with logistics, plant operations, and sustainability teams to integrate decarbonization roadmap into logistics strategy and vendor selection
§ Conduct techno-commercial studies and sensitivity analysis for transition solutions
§ Coordinate pilot projects for new technologies and assess scalability
§ Track and report decarbonization performance KPIs and support audit and disclosure requirements

This profile will work closely with various stakeholders to overcome the following broad challenges:
§ Limited data visibility across networks and multiple Logistics Service Providers
§ Volatility in fuel markets and evolving green fleet economics
§ Resistance to change from transport partners and internal operating teams
§ Infrastructural gaps for green fleet

§ Prioritization of decarbonization opportunities
§ Selection of routes, warehouses, TVPs, hubs, suppliers, Charging Point Operators (CPOs), green fuel stations for green logistics providers
§ Recommendation of technology partners, OEMs, or service providers
§ Finalization and monitoring of emission calculation methodologies, and data validation standards
§ Approval of logistics optimization models and intervention monitoring framework
