Graduate Engineer Trainee – Mechanical
Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Engineer Trainee (Mechanical) to join our steel fabrication unit supplying to railway projects. The candidate will be trained in fabrication processes, welding, drawing interpretation, and quality control as per railway standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in steel fabrication activities such as cutting, bending, drilling, and assembly
- Read and understand fabrication drawings and support shop floor execution
- Monitor welding activities and perform basic weld inspection
- Support quality checks as per railway standards (RDSO or client requirements)
- Perform dimensional inspection using measuring instruments
- Maintain daily production and inspection reports
- Ensure adherence to safety practices and PPE usage
- Assist in material tracking and documentation
Requirements:
- Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Fresher or up to 1 year of experience
- Basic knowledge of fabrication and welding preferred
- Ability to read engineering drawings (basic level)
- Willingness to work on shop floor
- Good learning attitude and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of welding processes (MIG, ARC, TIG)
- Familiarity with measuring tools (Vernier, Micrometer)
- Basic understanding of quality inspection

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
