We are looking for a meticulous Assistant Project Manager to handle billing, quantity verification, and cost control for civil and interior projects. The role involves verifying executed quantities, preparing RA bills, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and supporting the Project Manager to ensure accurate financial tracking and smooth project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1️ Billing & Financial Management
- Prepare, verify, and process Running Account (RA) bills and final bills for contractors and vendors.
- Ensure all billing is accurate and aligns with approved BOQ and completed works.
- Track project payment schedules and outstanding amounts to ensure timely payments.
- Support the Project Manager in financial reporting and cost analysis.
2️ Quantity Verification & BOQ Management
- Conduct on-site measurements of executed work.
- Verify quantities against drawings, specifications, and BOQ.
- Maintain detailed quantity records and reconciliation statements.
- Identify discrepancies, variations, and assist in preparing variation orders.
3️ Cost Control & Material Monitoring
- Track material usage and wastage to maintain project cost efficiency.
- Assist in budget monitoring and cost control initiatives.
- Ensure documentation for all site works and financial approvals is complete and up to date.
4️ Coordination & Documentation
- Liaise with site engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to verify work and billing.
- Maintain accurate records of site measurements, bills, and approvals.
- Assist in preparing reports for clients, management, and auditors.
- Support the Project Manager in decision-making regarding billing, quantities, and cost optimization.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 3–7 years of experience in RA billing, quantity verification, and BOQ management for civil or interior projects.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and billing procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Proficient in MS Excel; knowledge of AutoCAD or quantity surveying software is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and documentation skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication and coordination abilities.
