Job Description: Senior Executive - Technical
Position Overview: The Senior Executive - Technical is responsible for providing technical support and expertise in the management of facility systems and infrastructure. This role involves overseeing and coordinating technical operations, maintenance, and projects to ensure the efficient and reliable functioning of the facility. The Senior Executive - Technical works closely with the facility management team to ensure compliance with standards, optimize performance, and address technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Operations and Maintenance: Oversee the operation and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and security systems.
Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulations.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
Monitor energy consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives.
Project Coordination: Manage technical projects, such as renovations, upgrades, installations, and equipment replacements.
Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines.
Coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, and vendors to ensure successful project execution.
Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Vendor Management: Liaise with external service providers, vendors, and contractors for technical services and supplies.
Evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate contracts, and service level agreements.
Monitor vendor performance, ensure compliance with contract terms, and address any issues in a timely manner.
Manage vendor invoices and payments.
Health, Safety, and Compliance: Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
Keep up-to-date records of compliance activities and documentation.
Budgeting and Financial Management: Assist in preparing and managing the technical budget, including forecasting expenses and tracking costs.
Monitor and control expenses related to technical operations and maintenance.
Review and approve invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
Technical Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to technical systems, maintenance activities, and projects.
Prepare reports and presentations on technical operations, maintenance activities, and project progress as required.
Provide technical inputs for strategic planning, budget forecasting, and decision making.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as facility managers, engineering teams, and senior management, to understand their technical needs and provide support.
Communicate technical updates, changes, and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve technical issues and support operational objectives.
