We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Logistics to manage and oversee end-to-end export, import, and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless shipment execution, regulatory compliance, cost optimization, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders to support business growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, Commerce, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in Export-Import Logistics, Supply Chain, or International Trade.
- Strong knowledge of Customs procedures, DGFT regulations, export documentation, and international shipping.
- Experience in handling freight negotiations, logistics planning, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end export and import operations, ensuring timely shipment execution and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs agents, transporters, and regulatory authorities.
- Manage customs clearance, container movements, documentation, and shipment tracking.
- Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, Foreign Trade Policy, APEDA, FSSAI, Spice Board, and destination-country regulations.
- Prepare, verify, and maintain all export-import documentation and statutory records.
- Handle Advance Authorization, export obligations, certifications, registrations, and compliance requirements.
- Negotiate freight rates and commercial terms with logistics service providers to optimize costs.
- Monitor logistics budgets, verify vendor invoices, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
- Coordinate with Sales, Production, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Communicate with international customers regarding shipment schedules and documentation.
- Prepare MIS reports, analyze logistics performance, and implement process improvements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members while ensuring operational excellence and compliance.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
