Job Summary
Newgentech Solutions is looking for an experienced Operation Manager – Rental Department to lead and manage our Material Handling Equipment (MHE) rental operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in rental operations within an MHE company and possess strong leadership, coordination, and customer management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Rental Department.
- Ensure timely deployment, installation, and retrieval of rental equipment.
- Coordinate with customers, service engineers, logistics, and sales teams for smooth operations.
- Monitor equipment availability, utilization, and maintenance schedules.
- Plan preventive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
- Handle customer escalations and ensure prompt resolution of operational issues.
- Track rental contracts, renewals, billing coordination, and documentation.
- Maintain operational MIS reports, asset tracking, and performance metrics.
- Lead and motivate the rental operations team to achieve business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Continuously improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum 03–04 years of experience in rental operations with a Material Handling Equipment (MHE) company is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of MHE products such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet trucks, stackers, and related equipment.
- Experience in fleet management, rental planning, and service coordination.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems is preferred.
