- Supervise microbiology laboratory operations, ensuring timely and accurate diagnostic results.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance protocols to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Train, guide, and evaluate laboratory technicians and support staff.
- Coordinate with physicians and infection control departments for effective diagnosis and reporting.
- Oversee procurement, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory equipment and supplies.
- Ensure adherence to biosafety and hygiene standards within the laboratory environment.
- Document and report test results as per institutional and accreditation requirements.
