The Site Engineer – Operations is responsible for conducting site surveys, planning and supervising installations, coordinating with internal teams and clients, and ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and as per company standards. The role requires frequent site visits, technical assessments, documentation, and cross-functional coordination to ensure successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Site Survey, Assessment and Technical Inspection:
- Conduct detailed site surveys before project execution.
- Assess site readiness and identify technical or operational challenges.
- Take accurate power measurements and measure internal dimensions.
- Verify technical specifications available on the system and at the site.
- Inspect existing systems and confirm compatibility with EC retrofit requirements.
- Record all site observations, measurements, and inspection findings, and recommend suitable installation methods for effective project planning.
3. Client Coordination:
- Meet with clients to understand requirements and controls.
- Clarify technical specifications and installation schedules.
- Maintain professional communication throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Installation Planning, Supervision & Site Monitoring
- Prepare installation plans based on survey findings.
- Supervise installation activities to ensure quality workmanship and timely execution.
- Visit project sites as required to monitor progress and verify work completion.
- Resolve site-related issues in coordination with relevant teams.
- Provide regular progress updates to the Reporting Manager and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare detailed installation reports upon completion of each project.
- Maintain accurate records of site observations, measurements, and project status.
- Submit reports within the prescribed timelines.
6. Gate Entry Documentation:
- Prepare and arrange all required gate entry documents and approvals before project commencement.
- Ensure compliance with client and site-specific entry procedures.
7. Material Verification:
- Verify materials, tools, and equipment before installation begins.
- Ensure the correct quantity and specifications of materials are available at the site.
- Report shortages or discrepancies to the concerned department.
8. Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Coordinate effectively with the Production, Operations, Accounts, and Sales teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Facilitate timely communication between departments to resolve operational issues.
9. Training & Compliance:
- Attend all training programs conducted by the HR department and other functional departments.
- Implement the knowledge gained from training in day-to-day work.
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Industrial Safety discipline.
- Relevant experience in site engineering, project execution, Industrial Safety or installation activities is preferred.
Required Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of site installations and electrical systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings and project layouts.
- Good communication and client-handling abilities.
- Good planning, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prepare technical reports and documentation.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
