Key Responsibilities
- Store Operations
- Manage day-to-day receiving, storing and issuing of materials.
- Ensure materials are received against approved Purchase Orders/GRNs.
- Maintain proper bin cards, stock registers and computerized inventory records.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling and housekeeping of all stores.
- Inventory Management
- Maintain optimum stock levels and avoid stock-outs/overstocking.
- Monitor FIFO/FEFO practices, particularly for medicines, consumables and items with expiry dates.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, damaged and expired stock.
- Hospital & Medical Supplies
- Manage surgical consumables, laboratory items, PPE, medical equipment, stationery, housekeeping materials and other hospital/college requirements.
- Coordinate with departments for their material requirements.
- Ensure critical hospital items are continuously available.
- Purchase & Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with the Purchase/Procurement Department for timely replenishment.
- Follow up with vendors regarding pending supplies, shortages and replacement of defective materials.
- Assist in vendor evaluation and price comparison wherever required.
- Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain GRNs, issue slips, purchase orders, invoices and stock records.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with institutional SOPs and applicable hospital quality standards.
- Support internal, financial and statutory audits.
- Team Management
- Supervise Store Officers, Storekeepers, Store Assistants and other store staff.
- Allocate duties and monitor attendance, productivity and discipline.
- Train staff on inventory procedures, documentation and safety practices.
- Cost & Loss Control
- Control wastage, pilferage, expiry and material losses.
- Identify opportunities for inventory cost reduction.
- Maintain proper accountability for high-value and critical items.
Required Qualification: Bachelor's/Master's Degree,PG Diploma in Materials Management / Supply Chain Management will be an advantage
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
