Job Purpose
To maintain the greenery, cleanliness, and overall appearance of the plant premises by taking care of plants, lawns, trees, and garden areas while ensuring proper upkeep and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Garden & Plant Maintenance
- Water plants, trees, lawns, and greenery areas regularly as required.
- Visit the premises during suitable morning/evening hours, especially during summer, for plant care and maintenance.
- Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, trees, and seasonal plants.
- Carry out pruning, trimming, cutting, and removal of dry or damaged plants.
- Ensure healthy growth and proper maintenance of plants and greenery.
Landscaping & Appearance
- Create and maintain decorative landscaping, hedge trimming, and topiary (green design) work to enhance the appearance of the premises.
- Maintain the overall beauty and presentation of gardens and plantation areas.
Cleanliness & Upkeep
- Remove weeds, dry leaves, waste material, and unwanted plants regularly.
- Maintain cleanliness in gardens and surrounding green areas.
- Keep pathways and plantation areas neat and well-maintained.
Fertilizer & Plant Health
- Apply manure, fertilizers, and pesticides as required.
- Monitor plant health and report any pest or disease-related concerns.
Tools & Equipment Management
- Maintain gardening tools, pipes, and related equipment properly.
- Ensure tools are used safely and kept properly after use.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Gardener/Maali preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plant care, fertilizers, and gardening practices.
- Knowledge of decorative gardening and landscaping will be an added advantage.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors.
- Responsible, disciplined, and punctual.
Pay: ₹8,111.11 - ₹12,000.00 per month
