Danodia Foods Private Limited is a growing food brand offering a wide range of quality food products including millets, jaggery, healthy staples, and packaged food products. We are expanding our sales presence and looking for an energetic Area Sales Officer for the Chandigarh Tricity region.
Job Description
We are hiring an Area Sales Officer who will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong relationships with retailers/distributors, and increasing market presence in the Chandigarh Tricity region. The candidate should be active, target-oriented, and comfortable with field sales and regular market visits.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand sales in the assigned Chandigarh Tricity region.
- Visit retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and modern trade outlets regularly.
- Generate new business opportunities and appoint new dealers/distributors where required.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and report daily/weekly sales activities.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure repeat orders.
- Collect market feedback, competitor information, and customer requirements.
- Ensure proper product visibility, availability, and placement in the market.
- Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, dispatch, and payment follow-ups.
- Promote Danodia Foods products professionally and represent the company in the market.
Candidate Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in sales, preferably in FMCG, food products, grocery, retail, or distribution sales.
- Good knowledge of the Chandigarh Tricity market will be preferred.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Must be comfortable with field visits and market development.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and target-driven.
- Two-wheeler preferred.
