Job Description – Assistant Accounts Manager

Job Summary
The Assistant Accounts Manager will support the Finance & Accounts department by overseeing
day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and
timely completion of financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting transactions in ERP/Tally.
- Review purchase/sales invoices, vouchers, journal entries, and receipts.
- Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Prepare debit/credit notes and reconciliations.
- Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial statements.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, and internal departments.
- Support budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and guide junior team members.
Qualifications
B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance); CA Inter preferred.
Experience
3–5 years in Finance & Accounts; manufacturing industry preferred.
Skills
Financial Accounting, GST & TDS, Tally Prime/ERP, Advanced Excel, AP/AR, MIS Reporting, Audit
Coordination, Communication, Team Management.
KPIs
Accuracy of accounting entries, timely statutory compliance, reconciliation accuracy, timely MIS
reporting, audit readiness, and process efficiency.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
