Job Summary
The Quality Engineer (ISO/IEC 17025) is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and improving the laboratory quality management system in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements. The role ensures that laboratory testing and calibration activities meet international standards for competence, accuracy, reliability, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Management System
- Implement and maintain the laboratory quality management system as per ISO/IEC 17025.
- Develop, review, and update quality manuals, procedures, work instructions, and records.
- Ensure all laboratory activities comply with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Internal Audits & Compliance
- Plan and conduct internal audits to verify compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
- Identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Prepare the laboratory for external audits and accreditation assessments.
- Documentation Control
- Manage document control systems for procedures, test methods, and records.
- Ensure proper documentation and traceability of laboratory data.
- Method Validation & Calibration
- Support validation and verification of testing and calibration methods.
- Ensure measurement traceability and proper calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Training & Awareness
- Train laboratory personnel on ISO/IEC 17025 requirements and quality procedures.
- Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Risk Management
- Identify risks affecting laboratory quality and implement mitigation measures.
- Monitor key performance indicators related to quality and laboratory performance.
- Customer & Complaint Handling
- Address customer feedback and complaints related to testing or calibration services.
- Ensure timely resolution and corrective action.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory standards.
- Experience in laboratory quality systems, testing, or calibration environments.

Pay: ₹15,135.45 - ₹70,036.43 per month
