Position: Pattern Repair Technician
Department: Pattern Shop
Experience: 1–3 Years (Foundry Experience Preferred)
Key Responsibilities
Repair damaged wooden, aluminum, and metal patterns.
Inspect patterns for wear, breakage, dimensional issues, and defects.
Carry out maintenance and modification of patterns as per production requirements.
Ensure pattern dimensions match approved drawings and specifications.
Replace damaged components, inserts, bushes, and loose parts.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Pattern Shop teams for pattern-related issues.
Maintain pattern records and repair history.
Ensure proper storage and handling of patterns to prevent damage.
Support development of new patterns and trial activities when required.
Follow safety, housekeeping, and 5S standards in the pattern shop.
Skills Required
Knowledge of foundry pattern equipment and tools.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Basic measuring instrument knowledge (Vernier, measuring tape, gauges).
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of wooden and metal pattern repair techniques.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Pattern availability for production.
Reduction in pattern-related rejection and breakdowns.
Timely completion of repair work.
Compliance with safety and 5S requirements.
Educational Qualification
ITI / Diploma / 12th Pass (Technical Background Preferred)
Experience
1–3 years in Foundry Pattern Shop, Pattern Repair, or Tool Room activities.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
