Job Summary
We are looking for compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Staff Nurses to join our hospital team in the Ward and ICU departments. The ideal candidates will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities General Ward Nurse Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to admitted patients.
- Assess patients and record vital signs regularly.
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by doctors.
- Assist physicians during rounds, examinations, and procedures.
- Monitor patient progress and promptly report any changes in condition.
- Maintain accurate nursing records, charts, and documentation.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Ensure patient comfort, hygiene, nutrition, and safety.
- Follow infection control protocols and biomedical waste management guidelines.
- Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare professionals for effective patient care.
ICU Nurse Responsibilities:
- Provide critical care nursing to seriously ill patients.
- Continuously monitor patients using ICU equipment and cardiac monitors.
- Operate and manage ventilators, infusion pumps, defibrillators, and other life-support equipment.
- Administer critical medications and IV infusions as prescribed.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and participate in resuscitation procedures.
- Maintain accurate ICU charts, nursing notes, and patient records.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection prevention and ICU protocols.
- Collaborate with intensivists, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams for patient management.
Qualifications:
- GNM or Diploma / B.Sc Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
- ICU experience preferred for ICU positions.
Required Skills:
- Excellent patient care and clinical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
Experience:
- Freshers or candidates with minimum 2 years of experience in Ward/ICU nursing are preferred
