Varth Capital Limited is a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) engaged in vehicle financing and financial services. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to oversee accounting operations, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and team management.
Job Description – Accounts Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts.
- Review journal entries, ledgers, bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
- Prepare and review monthly MIS, financial statements, cash flow statements, and fund flow reports.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Professional Tax, ROC, and other statutory requirements.
- Manage loan accounting, interest calculations, provisioning, and NBFC-specific accounting transactions.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
- Review vendor payments, customer reconciliations, and outstanding balances.
- Develop and strengthen internal financial controls and accounting processes.
- Assist in budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and management reporting.
- Lead, guide, and mentor the accounts team while ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Accounting Standards, Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST provisions, and RBI guidelines applicable to NBFCs.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Chartered Accountant (CA)
- CA Final (Articleship completed) with 3–4 years of relevant post-articleship/industry experience
- Semi-Qualified CA (CA Inter) with strong practical exposure in accounts and finance
- MBA (Finance) from a recognized institution with relevant experience
- M.Com with 3–5 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting
- B.Com with 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting, statutory compliance, and financial management
- Candidates with prior experience in an NBFC, BFSI, lending, or financial services industry will be preferred.
Experience
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or financial reporting.
- Prior experience in an NBFC, banking, lending, or financial services organization will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping.
- In-depth understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, etc.).
- Working knowledge of RBI regulations and NBFC compliance will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- High level of integrity, ownership, and attention to detail.

Pay: From ₹75,000.00 per month
