Heritage Architect is looking for a skilled and responsible Civil Engineer to join our team in Dehradun. The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising construction activities, coordinating with architects, contractors and site teams, monitoring project quality and ensuring that work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications and project timelines.
The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of civil construction, site execution, quantity estimation, quality control and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at project sites.
- Ensure construction work is executed according to architectural and structural drawings.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, labour teams and project stakeholders.
- Monitor construction quality, materials and workmanship.
- Prepare quantity estimates, BOQs and material requirements.
- Verify contractor bills, measurements and completed work.
- Maintain daily site progress reports and project documentation.
- Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Identify technical or execution-related issues and provide practical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with site safety standards and construction guidelines.
- Conduct site inspections and report project progress to management.
- Minimise material wastage and support effective cost control.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 1–3 years of relevant civil construction or site engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and site execution.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Basic knowledge of quantity estimation, BOQ preparation and billing.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel and project documentation.
- Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage site responsibilities.
- Candidates based in or willing to work in Dehradun will be preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in residential, commercial or architectural construction projects.
- Knowledge of RCC work, finishing work and quality inspection.
- Understanding of construction scheduling and contractor management.
- Familiarity with local vendors, contractors and construction practices in Dehradun.
Salary and Benefits
- Monthly salary between ₹25,000 and ₹35,000.
