Job Summary
The Service Floor Incharge is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service workshop, ensuring smooth workflow, timely vehicle delivery, and excellent customer satisfaction. The role involves coordinating with service advisors, technicians, and support staff while maintaining Hyundai's quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily workshop floor operations.
- Allocate repair and maintenance jobs to technicians based on skill and workload.
- Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion of service work.
- Maintain high standards of quality, productivity, and workplace safety.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors to ensure clear communication regarding vehicle status and delivery timelines.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, tools, and workshop equipment.
- Monitor technician productivity and provide guidance to improve performance.
- Handle customer concerns related to workshop operations and support quick issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with Hyundai service processes, SOPs, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate job records, workshop documentation, and daily performance reports.
- Support training and development of workshop staff.
- Maintain cleanliness & discipline within the service workshop
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of experience in automobile service operations, in a authorized service center.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle repair processes and workshop management.
- Good leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and dealership management systems is preferred.
