About the Role
We are looking for a creative and passionate Video Editor to join our growing team at Namastory.
As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating engaging short-form and long-form video content for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn. You will work closely with our content, marketing, and production teams to bring stories to life through compelling edits.

Responsibilities
- Edit reels, shorts, and social media videos
- Edit long-form content such as podcasts, interviews, and YouTube videos
- Add subtitles, transitions, motion graphics, sound effects, and background music
- Create engaging hooks and retention-focused edits
- Organize and manage project files efficiently
- Collaborate with the content and creative team to execute content ideas
- Stay updated with current social media and editing trends
Requirements
- Basic to advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software
- Good understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social media content formats
- Strong attention to detail and storytelling ability
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
- A portfolio or sample work is preferred
Preferred (Not Mandatory)
- Experience working with a marketing agency
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animations
- Experience editing podcast content and talking-head videos
- Understanding of social media marketing and content strategy
