Key Responsibilities
- Plan, monitor, and manage daily jewellery production activities.
- Coordinate with design, merchandising, and sales teams to meet production schedules.
- Supervise artisans, craftsmen, setters, polishers, and production staff.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within timelines and budget.
- Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Manage raw material usage and minimize wastage.
- Coordinate inventory of gold, diamonds, gemstones, and other materials.
- Resolve production issues and implement process improvements.
- Ensure machinery and equipment are properly maintained.
- Maintain production reports, stock records, and MIS.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, and manufacturing policies.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of jewellery manufacturing processes.
- Experience in production planning and workflow management.
- Knowledge of casting, setting, polishing, finishing, and quality control.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/software used in jewellery manufacturing.
- 5–10 years of experience in jewellery production, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in gold, diamond, or precious jewellery manufacturing.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and production optimization techniques.
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
