Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Speech Therapist to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, voice, and swallowing disorders in children and/or adults. The ideal candidate will create individualized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy sessions.
- Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress.
- Educate and counsel patients, parents, and caregivers on therapy goals and home programs.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and prepare progress reports.
- Collaborate with doctors, psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, educators, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in case discussions and multidisciplinary meetings.
- Stay updated with current clinical practices and maintain professional development.
- Ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and organizational standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Speech Therapy.
- Valid registration/licensure as required by local regulatory authorities.
- Freshers are welcome to apply; prior clinical experience is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with pediatric and/or adult populations.
- Knowledge of autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, neurological conditions, and swallowing disorders.
- Proficiency in assessment tools and therapy techniques.
- Empathetic, patient-centered approach to care.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
