Job Summary
Lakshmi Shutter is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Associate to support the Human Resources department in recruitment, employee onboarding, documentation, attendance management, HR administration, employee engagement, and policy implementation. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth HR operations while fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in end-to-end recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
Manage employee onboarding, induction, joining formalities, and exit processes.
Maintain employee records, HR documentation, personnel files, and digital databases.
Monitor attendance, leave management, and maintain accurate HR reports.
Coordinate employee confirmation, probation reviews, and performance appraisal documentation.
Support the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and statutory compliance requirements.
Organize employee engagement activities, training programs, and safety awareness programs
Prepare HR letters, employment contracts, appointment letters, and other HR documents.
Coordinate with payroll and accounts for employee attendance and salary-related information.
Handle employee queries professionally and maintain confidentiality of HR information.
Assist the HR Manager in day-to-day HR operations and administrative activities.
Implement KPI-based performance appraisal and incentive systems.
Develop and maintain HR policies, employee documentation, and MIS reports.
Conduct employee induction, training, and safety awareness programs.
Ensure professional grooming standards across departments.
Manage ESI, PF, and other statutory HR compliance.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Management, or any related discipline.
MBA/MSW with HR specialization will be an added advantage.
Experience & Skills
1–3 years of experience in Human Resources or HR Administration (Freshers with strong HR knowledge may also apply).
Knowledge of recruitment processes and employee lifecycle management.
Good understanding of HR documentation and record management.
Basic knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance will be an advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and HR documentation.
Good organizational, coordination, and time management skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
Positive attitude with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial, Construction, or MSME organizations.
Familiarity with attendance management, HRMS, or payroll coordination.
Strong documentation and administrative capabilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
Willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow within the organization.
