Job Description:
We are seeking a PCB Designer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in schematic capture, PCB layout, and hardware prototyping. The candidate will be responsible for designing high-density, multi-layer PCBs and supporting product development from design to manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design schematics and develop high-density, multi-layer PCB layouts using ECAD tools
* Select components and create footprints, including integration of microcontrollers (Raspberry Pi Pico / RP2040), sensors, and motor driver circuits
* Collaborate with mechanical teams by providing 3D models (STEP files) for proper enclosure fitment
* Generate Gerber files, drill charts, and Bill of Materials (BOM) for manufacturing
* Ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM) for cost-effective and high-yield production
* Handle signal integrity, impedance control, and EMI/EMC considerations
* Implement thermal management techniques such as copper pours and vias
* Support prototyping, PCB assembly, testing, and debugging
Required Skills:
* Experience in Altium Designer / KiCad / Autodesk Eagle
* Knowledge of multi-layer PCB design and IPC standards
* Basic understanding of signal integrity, EMI/EMC, and impedance matching
* Hands-on experience in SMD soldering and hardware testing
* Familiarity with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
Qualification:
* Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering
* 1–2 years of relevant PCB design experience
