About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic Purchase Executive / Purchase Manager with experience in wire
harness, wire & cable, or electrical manufacturing industry. The role involves managing
procurement operations, vendor development, and ensuring timely availability of materials for
production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end procurement of wire harness components, connectors, cables, and
electrical raw materials.
- Develop and manage a strong vendor base for cost-effective and quality sourcing.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Ensure timely procurement to support uninterrupted production.
- Coordinate with production, design, and quality teams for material planning.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock management.
- Prepare and manage purchase orders, documentation, and records.
- Track market trends and implement cost-saving strategies.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and quality standards.
- (For Manager role) Lead procurement planning, vendor strategy, and team coordination.
Key Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in procurement/purchase (role level based on experience).
- Hands-on experience in wire harness / connectors / cable / electrical components
procurement.
- B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics or relevant field.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and priorities.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of wire harness manufacturing and components.
- Experience in supplier development and cost optimization.
- Knowledge of industry standards and compliance.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
