Manufacturing Responsibilities
- Assemble chassis, suspension, steering, brake, transmission, and body components as per engineering drawings and SOPs.
- Install front and rear suspension systems, steering assemblies, brake systems, wheels, and mechanical accessories.
- Mount electric motor, gearbox, differential, and driveline components.
- Tighten all fasteners using specified torque values.
- Conduct in-process quality inspections during assembly.
- Rectify assembly defects before the vehicle moves to the next production stage.
- Perform vehicle alignment and mechanical adjustments.
- Support prototype builds and engineering changes.
- Maintain production records and assembly checklists.
Service Responsibilities
- Perform periodic maintenance and scheduled servicing.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
- Replace damaged or worn mechanical components.
- Repair steering, suspension, brake, drivetrain, and chassis systems.
- Conduct road tests after repairs.
- Complete service job cards and inspection reports.
- Ensure vehicles are delivered in safe operating condition.
Daily Duties
- Attend daily work allocation meetings.
- Inspect tools and work area before starting work.
- Complete assigned vehicles within standard repair or assembly time.
- Maintain cleanliness of the workstation following 5S practices.
- Report quality concerns and safety hazards immediately.
- Coordinate with Quality, Production, Stores, and Electrical teams.
