Job Description – Civil Engineer (Retired PWD/Nagar Nigam Required)

Salary: Up to ₹40,000 per month
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with extensive expertise in building construction, project execution, quality control, and government approvals. Preference will be given to retired professionals from Public Works Department (PWD), Nagar Nigam, Municipal Corporation, RIICO, or other government engineering departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor building and construction projects from planning to completion.
- Review architectural, structural, and engineering drawings.
- Ensure compliance with construction standards, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and government authorities.
- Monitor project quality, timelines, and cost control measures.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance to project teams.
- Verify measurements, bills, estimates, BOQs, and contractor payments.
- Assist in obtaining approvals, NOCs, and other regulatory clearances.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during project execution.
- Prepare and review project reports and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 15–20 years of experience in building and construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, estimation, quality control, and project management.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Candidate
- Retired Civil Engineer from PWD, Nagar Nigam, Municipal Corporation, Development Authority, RIICO, or other Government Departments.
- Experience handling government construction projects and approvals.
- Familiarity with local building bylaws and regulatory processes.
Compensation & Benefits
