Core Responsibilities
- First Impressions: Warmly greet and seat guests as they arrive, setting a positive tone for their visit.
- Menu Guidance: Present menus, answer questions about ingredients, and provide thoughtful food and beverage recommendations.
- Order & Service Management: Accurately take orders and ensure timely, polite service of food and beverages to the tables.
- Customer Resolution: Proactively listen to guest queries, manage special requests, and resolve any issues or complaints calmly and efficiently.
- Billing & POS Operations: Process cash and digital payments accurately and efficiently.
- Team Coordination: Liaise directly with the kitchen and barista staff to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly.
- Maintenance: Maintain a clean, hygienic, and well-presented dining and reception area throughout the shift.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality or Hotel Management is highly preferred.
- Experience: 0-1 year in a customer service or F&B (Food and Beverage) role.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal communication with a warm, friendly, and approachable personality. Fluency in English and the local language is essential.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long hours and work in rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
