Job Summary
Lappy Maker is looking for a creative and detail-oriented SEO Content Writer who can create high-quality, engaging, and search-engine-optimized content. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of SEO best practices and the ability to write content that drives organic traffic, improves search rankings, and supports brand visibility for technology and laptop-related products/services.
Key Responsibilities
- Write SEO-friendly content for websites, blogs, landing pages, product pages, service pages, and articles.
- Conduct keyword research and use keywords strategically without keyword stuffing.
- Optimize content for On-page SEO including meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, and internal linking.
- Create content aligned with Google SEO guidelines and search intent.
- Update and optimize existing website content to improve rankings and engagement.
- Coordinate with the SEO and marketing team for content planning and strategy.
- Proofread and edit content for grammar, clarity, readability, and accuracy.
- Track content performance and suggest improvements based on analytics and SEO reports.
- Research industry trends related to laptops, technology, gadgets, and digital products.
- Create engaging and plagiarism-free content maintaining brand tone and consistency.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proven experience as an SEO Content Writer or Content Writer.
- Strong knowledge of SEO concepts including keywords, On-page SEO, and search intent.
- Excellent command over English writing and grammar.
- Ability to write content for different industries, formats, and target audiences.
- Familiarity with tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Ubersuggest.
- Basic knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Search Console is a plus.
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong research and content structuring skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, or any related field.
- Certification in SEO or Digital Marketing will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of SEO writing techniques and search intent.
- Excellent written communication skills in English.
- Ability to research topics and create original, plagiarism-free content.
- Basic knowledge of content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in writing technology, laptop, electronics, e-commerce, or digital product-related content.
- Basic understanding of CMS platforms (WordPress preferred).
- Knowledge of AI content tools with human editing and optimization.
- Experience in optimizing existing website content for SEO performance.
- Understanding of buyer intent, product-focused content, and conversion-oriented writing.
