Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Assistant to manage day-to-day accounting activities and support the smooth functioning of the Finance Department. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting entries, financial documentation, reconciliations, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and maintain day-to-day accounting transactions, including purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries in Tally.
- Prepare and process financial adjustments and provisions while ensuring compliance with applicable statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents for audit and internal control purposes.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash and credit card transactions.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, and other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Assist in monthly closing activities, ledger scrutiny, and preparation of financial reports.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Carry out additional tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Accounts Head or Management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting and finance functions.
- Working knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
