Business Development Executive (International Sales)
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to identify and engage potential international clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching prospects, conducting email and phone outreach, generating qualified leads, and scheduling meetings for the sales team. Strong communication skills and confidence in speaking with international clients are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential international clients using search engines, business directories, LinkedIn, and other online platforms.
- Build and maintain a database of qualified prospects.
- Send personalized cold emails to introduce the company's products and services.
- Conduct outbound cold calls to connect with decision-makers and verify contact information.
- Follow up with prospects through email and phone calls.
- Qualify leads by understanding their business requirements and interest.
- Schedule appointments and meetings between prospective clients and the sales team.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly lead generation and appointment-setting targets.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
Required Skills
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Strong internet research and prospecting skills.
- Experience with cold emailing and cold calling.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport with international clients.
- Knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, or similar lead generation tools is a plus.
- Self-motivated with a target-oriented mindset.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in international sales, lead generation, business development, or appointment setting.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.
