Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Senior Data Analyst role based in Chennai. The Senior Data Analyst will gather, clean, and analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights for business and operational decisions. Responsibilities include building and maintaining reports and dashboards, developing data models, and performing statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities. The role will collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into analytical solutions, validate data accuracy, and present findings in clear, concise formats. The Senior Data Analyst will also mentor junior team members, contribute to best practices in data governance, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analytics, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and provide clear recommendations.
- Solid foundation in statistics and applied statistical methods for forecasting, segmentation, and hypothesis testing.
- Experience in data modeling, including designing and optimizing data structures for reporting and analysis.
- Effective communication skills to present insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders and collaborate across teams.
- Hands-on experience with analytics and BI tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar), and comfort working with large data volumes.
- Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in a data analyst or similar role, preferably within FMCG, or related industries.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving mindset, and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
Preferred Experience:
3–4 years of experience in MIS Reporting, Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, Team Handling, Training, and Supervisory roles.
Pay: ₹24,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
