Industry:-Hose Pipe Manufacturing / Oil & Gas

Location:-Waghodia GIDC

Job Summary:-

We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager with 7–10 years of experience in the

hose pipe manufacturing or oil & gas industry. The candidate will be responsible for

developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems to ensure

products meet customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities :-

 Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures.

 Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, API, ASTM, ASME, and other relevant industry

standards.

 Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process.

 Conduct internal and external quality audits.

 Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

 Review inspection reports, test certificates, and quality documentation.

 Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.

 Coordinate with production, engineering, procurement, and sales teams to improve

product quality.

 Manage supplier quality evaluations and audits.

 Maintain calibration records for measuring and testing equipment.

 Train and mentor quality engineers and inspectors.

 Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

 Prepare quality reports, KPIs, and presentations for management.

 Support customer inspections and third-party audits.

Required Qualifications

 Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Metallurgical

Engineering, or a related field.

 7–10 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control.

 Experience in hose pipe manufacturing or the oil & gas industry is preferred.

 Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.

 Familiarity with API standards and oil & gas quality requirements.

 Experience with welding inspections, pressure testing, hydro testing, and material

traceability is an advantage.

Required Skills:-

 Strong knowledge of QA/QC tools and techniques.

 Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

 CAPA implementation

 Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing knowledge

 Internal and external audit management

 Statistical Process Control (SPC)

 Risk assessment and quality planning

 Excellent communication and leadership skills

 Team management and problem-solving abilities

 Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt

 ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)

 NDT Level II (preferred)

 API Q1/Q2 knowledge (preferred)

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
