Role Overview
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating premium packaging, branding, and digital assets that reflect the luxury identity of the company’s fragrance portfolio. The role requires close collaboration with marketing, product development, and production teams to ensure all visual touchpoints align with brand standards and market positioning.
Key Responsibilities1. Packaging Design
- Design perfume packaging including boxes, bottle labels, caps, cartons, and secondary packaging.
- Prepare production-ready artwork for printing on glass, paper, foil, rigid boxes, and related materials.
- Coordinate with printers and packaging vendors for:
- Dielines
- Embossing/debossing
- Foiling
- Pantone color matching
- Ensure packaging designs meet production and quality standards.
2. Brand & Visual Identity
- Maintain and enhance the brand’s visual language across all platforms.
- Create mood boards, concept visuals, and campaign directions for fragrance launches.
- Develop realistic 3D mockups and presentation visuals for new products.
3. Digital & Marketing Collateral
- Design creatives for:
- Social media
- Digital advertisements
- Email campaigns
- Website banners and assets
- Support product photography through art direction inputs and retouching briefs.
- Ensure consistency of brand aesthetics across digital channels.
4. Print & POS Materials
- Develop print collateral including:
- Brochures
- Tester cards
- Retail displays
- Shelf talkers
- Event and exhibition materials
- Coordinate with vendors for print execution and quality checks.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with fragrance developers, copywriters, marketing teams, and external vendors to translate fragrance stories into impactful visuals.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Participate in creative brainstorming and product launch planning.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of experience in packaging design, preferably in:
- FMCG
- Cosmetics
- Luxury goods
- Perfume industry
- Proficiency in:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe InDesign
- Working knowledge of 3D visualization/mockup tools such as:
- Blender
- KeyShot
- Adobe Dimension
- Strong understanding of:
- Print production processes
- CMYK & Pantone systems
- Bleed setup and dielines
- Excellent typography, layout, and color sensibility.
- Strong attention to detail and creative thinking ability.
- Portfolio showcasing packaging and branding projects is mandatory.
Preferred Qualities
- Passion for luxury branding, fragrances, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to understand consumer aesthetics and premium market trends.
- Strong communication and vendor coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
