Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and creative Senior Interior Designer to lead interior design projects from concept development through execution. The candidate should have strong knowledge of space planning, furniture design, materials, BOQ, working drawings, and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative and functional interior design concepts based on client requirements.
- Prepare space planning, layouts, furniture plans, ceiling plans, elevations, and detailed working drawings.
- Create 2D/3D designs and realistic presentations for clients.
- Select suitable furniture, materials, finishes, fabrics, lighting, colors, and accessories.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, vendors, and site teams.
- Conduct site visits and ensure designs are implemented according to approved drawings.
- Prepare BOQ, material specifications, and cost estimates in coordination with the project team.
- Review drawings and ensure accuracy before execution.
- Manage multiple projects and ensure timely completion of design deliverables.
- Guide and mentor junior interior designers and design team members.
- Coordinate with the production/furniture team for customized furniture requirements.
- Resolve design and execution-related issues at the site.
- Stay updated with current interior design trends, materials, products, and technologies.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max/V-Ray, Revit, or similar design software.
- Excellent understanding of space planning and interior detailing.
- Good knowledge of furniture, modular kitchens, wardrobes, and interior materials.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ and estimation.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
- Strong creativity, visualization, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage projects independently.
- Good team leadership and coordination skills.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Relevant professional experience in interior design will be preferred.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in residential, commercial, office, showroom, or furniture interior projects.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating completed interior design projects.
- Ability to handle projects from concept to execution.
- Strong understanding of furniture manufacturing and interior execution will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
