Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic Sales professional with strong experience in the OEM segment, handling Flat Products like HR (Hot Rolled) CR (Cold Rolled) coils, Colour coated, & Pre Galvanised Coils ( GP ) of a Reputed Brand.
The role involves managing OEM customers, driving sales growth, and developing long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow OEM customer accounts in automotive, engineering, appliances, and related sectors
- Drive sales of HR CR coils and allied products including value-added steel products
- Develop deep understanding of Steel product portfolio, grades, applications, and specifications
- Prepare and execute sales plans, forecasts, and target achievement strategies
- Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and production teams to ensure timely delivery
- Handle price negotiations, contracts, and customer agreements
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements
- Ensure customer satisfaction, issue resolution, and repeat business
- Maintain accurate sales records and MIS reporting
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in OEM sales within the steel or metal industry
- Strong knowledge of HR & CR coils, applications, and quality parameters
- Hands-on experience or working exposure with Steel products
- Understanding of OEM procurement processes and approval cycles
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets
- Willingness to travel as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, or Business Management
- MBA (Sales/Marketing) – added advantage
- Established relationships with OEM customers will be an added advantage
