Molding Supervisor – Foundry
Location: SF No. 820/1 & 2, Samanaickenpalayam Post, Press Colony, Tamil Nadu – 641019
Experience: 3–8 Years
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily molding activities to achieve production targets.
- Ensure proper mold preparation and adherence to foundry process standards.
- Monitor green sand/furan molding parameters and maintain mold quality.
- Coordinate with Melting, Core Shop, Fettling, and Quality departments for smooth production.
- Monitor manpower utilization, shift planning, and productivity.
- Identify and reduce molding defects through process control and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, 5S, and housekeeping standards.
- Maintain daily production reports and shift records.
- Train and guide molding operators to improve efficiency and quality.
Requirements
- Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3–8 years of experience as a Molding Supervisor in a CI/SG Iron Foundry.
- Strong knowledge of green sand molding, mold preparation, and molding process control.
- Ability to lead a team and meet production schedules.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
