Key Responsibilities
- Accounting & Financial Management
- Manage and supervise day-to-day accounting operations.
- Ensure accurate recording of sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments.
- Review ledger accounts, journal entries, bank entries, and reconciliations.
- Monitor monthly closing of books of accounts.
- Coordinate preparation of Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
- Ensure accuracy of financial data and accounting records.
- GST, TDS & Statutory Compliance
- Manage GST-related data, reconciliations, and return-filing coordination.
- Monitor TDS deductions, payments, returns, and related compliance.
- Coordinate with CA, auditors, consultants, and statutory authorities.
- Ensure timely completion of all applicable financial and statutory compliances.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and assessments.
- Cash Flow & Fund Management
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow reports.
- Monitor available funds and upcoming financial commitments.
- Plan payments according to business priorities and available cash flow.
- Ensure proper coordination between expected customer collections and vendor payments.
- Monitor bank balances, credit limits, loans, EMIs, and other financial obligations.
- Receivables & Payables Management
- Monitor customer outstanding payments and ageing reports.
- Coordinate with the sales and management teams for collection planning.
- Review vendor outstanding balances and prepare payment schedules.
- Ensure vendor payments are processed according to agreed credit terms and management approval.
- Maintain proper control over advances paid to vendors and employees.
- Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare monthly and annual budgets.
- Compare actual expenses against approved budgets.
- Identify unnecessary or excessive expenditure and suggest cost-control measures.
- Monitor production-related costs, overhead expenses, transportation costs, and administrative expenses.
- Support management in improving profitability and controlling operational costs.
- MIS & Management Reporting
- Prepare Daily Cash Flow Reports.
- Prepare Monthly Profit & Loss MIS.
- Prepare Receivable and Payable Ageing Reports.
- Prepare Sales vs Collection Reports.
- Prepare Purchase vs Payment Reports.
- Prepare Budget vs Actual Expense Reports.
- Provide financial analysis and accurate reports to management for decision-making.
- Banking & Financial Coordination
- Handle banking transactions and bank reconciliation.
- Coordinate with banks regarding loans, working capital limits, OD/CC facilities, BGs, and other banking requirements.
- Maintain proper records of loan repayment schedules and EMIs.
- Ensure timely submission of required financial documents to banks.
- Audit & Internal Controls
- Coordinate internal, statutory, and tax audits.
- Maintain complete supporting documents for financial transactions.
- Establish and monitor internal financial controls.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely correction.
- Ensure that no payment is processed without proper authorization and supporting documentation.

Required Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter or equivalent qualification
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, taxation, and statutory compliance
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience with Tally, ERP, or other accounting software
- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills
Preferred Experience
5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing company.
The candidate should have practical experience in complete accounting operations, cash flow planning, budgeting, taxation, MIS reporting, banking, receivables, payables, and audit coordination.
